Here's how I use it

Mix
Fill the included Bottle with tap water. Shake vigorously for a minute.
Some powder may not dissolve — and that's OK but never use hot water on a child's scalp.
Apply

Pour half evenly over Knox-coated hair, working from tip to root. Massage deeply with fingertips for several minutes. You'll feel the Knox start to loosen.
If a swimmer has thick or doubly-layered Knox, Massage the scalp more, before rinsing.

Tip from Fina: During application, there is no such thing as massaging the scalp too much. Avoid scalding hot water — it isn't needed and can dry the scalp. KnoxAway Works on most hair — long, thin, curly, coarse, thick

From the pool deck
A five-step transformation captured after a live artistic-swimming performance.

Knoxed Hair After the Show
Hair coated with hardened Knox gelatin after a performance, creating stiffness, tangles, and buildup.

After First 10-Minute Treatment
KnoxAway begins breaking down the hardened gel, loosening the buildup and preparing it for easy removal.

Rinse Out After 2nd Treatment
The dissolved Knox rinses away with warm water, leaving significantly less residue on the hair.

Comb Out After Rinsing
Hair becomes soft, smooth, and easy to comb as the remaining buildup is gently released.
