How to Use | Knox Away

Here's how I use it

Three steps. Under five minutes.

A simple locker-room ritual — designed for the pool deck, not a lab bench.

Fill the included cap-mixer with warm water (about 100°F). Add one capful of KnoxAway® and swirl gently for 5 seconds.

Warmer water dissolves gelatin faster — but never use hot tap water on a child's scalp.

Pour evenly over Knox-coated hair, working from root to tip. Massage with fingertips for 60–90 seconds. You'll feel the Knox start to loosen.

If a swimmer has thick or doubly-layered Knox, repeat the application before rinsing.

Rinse thoroughly with warm water until the water runs clear. Follow with a regular shampoo and conditioner if desired.

A wide-tooth comb makes the after-rinse glide effortless.

Tip from Fina: During application, warm water helps speed results. Avoid scalding hot water — it isn't needed and can dry the scalp.
