KnoxAway® is formulated for rinse-off use on hair and scalp at any swimmer-appropriate age. As with any personal-care product, an adult should supervise younger swimmers and avoid eye contact.

KnoxAway® is sulfate-free and pH-balanced, so it's gentler on color-treated hair than most clarifying shampoos. We still recommend a patch test for first-time users.

An 8 fl oz pilot bottle typically covers 20–25 uses for a single swimmer with shoulder-length hair.
